Our story
Some things are easier to say anonymously.
Sorry Mommie is a quiet corner of the internet for the words that got stuck.
There are things we never said to our mothers. Not because we didn't feel them — but because the moment passed, or the words felt too big, or she was gone before we found them.
Sorry Mommie started as a simple idea: what if there was a place to put those words? Not to be seen by her — but to be released. To exist somewhere outside of you. Anonymous, honest, and real.
Every message on the wall was written by someone who needed to say something they couldn't say out loud. An apology. A thank you. A confession. A love note that arrived too late. They're all welcome here.
What this place is
Anonymous
No names. No accounts. No way to trace a message back to you. What you write here belongs only to the moment you wrote it.
Judgment-free
There are no wrong feelings here. Complicated love, unresolved anger, quiet grief — all of it is welcome on the wall.
For everyone
Whether your mother is living or gone, near or far, complicated or simple — this space is for you.
“The things we carry in silence are the heaviest things of all.”
